This site is in a really tough sector and up against real big spenders. There are 2 ways to go with such a site, try and take on the big spenders or concentrate on trying to convert more sales. This site is loaded with triggers and emotive phrasing to get people to contact them. Is it working? Well, they are getting the same level of conversions from organic searches as they were from spending thousands on mis directed Pay Per Click and other sorts of marketing.

The purpose to this site is to appear very official in its style rather than necessarily salesy. There are certain things that have to be done to get away with that style and this site achieves it with flying colours.

A huge amount of research was required for this site, for both the style and the content. There are various tools within the website to attract stickability and the content is food for the search engines so it is only a matter of time before this site become a high climber.

This was one of my first flash freelance websites and is still doing the business even though it is nearly 4 years old. The brief for this was a blank sheet of paper. All I had was a band name and a mp3 demo tape. This is where it helps to research your market, get a feel and a gist for what works well.

Although Flash is not easily recognised by search engines, and I certainly wouldn't do this site like this again, the main objective for this client was not to be found on search engines but to stop sending cd's/dvd's and have the website get them the work. From this site they have had bookings all over the country and obtained work with corporate clients and large venues like Butlins.

A football club website is far more involved than it might appear. From league tables to fixture lists and match reports to stats collection and presentation. This site required bringing in as much content done elsewhere (like league tables) and integrating it into the site rather than trying to be clever and let the club's officials try and keep it up to date.

The backend to the system is pretty impressive with a comprehensive way of allowing the clubs match reporter to enter the reports easily and simply. Behind the scenes the programming auto generates the match by match stats, player profile details and other content that can change as the season goes on.

The website has built-in news items that auto archive and also an entertainment guide for it's attached social club.
